NIGERIA Premier League side, Akwa United have made public its new orange and white shirts for the season which kicks off on January 14, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The shirt colour presentation was done at the NPL team's Club House in Uyo today (Wednesday).
Produced by Lagos based sports kitting firm, Owu Sports, will see the Promise Keepers wear orange jersey at home while a white jersey away.
Chairman of the club, Mr Paul Bassey said that the decision to make public the team's colour for the 2016/17 domestic football season was apt and timely.
Meanwhile, the club has fixed the sum of #2,500 for the sale of its replica shirts.
It went further to provide address of the shops and outlets within the state where fans can purchase them, and also telephone numbers of the shop and outlet owners.
The Maikaiba team kick off their campaign with a trip to Ilorin where they will battle Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC).
