Chadian shines, as Gombe Utd stings Jamba Professionals 7-0

MATIBEYE Ngarbe Francklin showed class as Gombe United mauled non-league side, Jamba Professionals 7-0 in its first pre-season game played this morning at at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium main bowl, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The Chadian who this week was signed from Foullah Edifice FC opened the floodgate of goals scoring the Savannah Scorpions first goal with barely seven minutes played.

Technical Adviser of the Savannah Scorpions, Manu Garba said after the friendly that matches of such nature would help the coaching crew to correct the gray areas in the team before the domestic football commenced proper.
He also heaped praise on his opponents, saying he was impressed with their performance.
The former Nigeria cadet team coach added that more matches would be played before the team heads to Katsina for their season curtain raiser against Nigeria National League (NNL) Super4 champions, Katsina United.
