CHELSEA technical chief Michael Emenalo says they're delighted with the impact of manager Antonio Conte.
Emenalo, a former Nigeria international discussed the Italian's progress with GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
"We always ask the coach to win the title!" he laughed. "Seriously, we talked about it and I think that no managers have winning the title as a binding target because it is obvious that it is only one team that wins in the end, but you never say to a manager not to win the title.
"We can provide the support, giving the resources to be competitive, and then it's up to him to meet the goal. But it was the same Antonio to talk about the title victory, for that matter he would not be a world-class manager if he said 'no, I just came to be competitive, not to win'.
"At the same time we are aware of the fact that we come from tenth place and there are many ways in which to improve."
