SUPER Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel could join fellow countrymen, Obafemi Martins and Anthony Ujah in the Chinese Super League after he accepted a massive contract offer from Tianjin Teda.
Italian sports news wire source, TMW says Tianjin Teda have tabled a three-year deal worth up to €9 million-a-year - (about #2, 949, 346,728 Billion) which has been accepted by the Nigerian.
Valencia chief Suso Garcia Pitarch has confirmed talks with him, but with no agreement struck.
The midfielder will be allowed to leave Chelsea on a free transfer this month.
The 29 year-old may now wait to see if Valencia up their proposal before making a final decision.
Recall Mikel was linked with a move to Marseille last week but the French side pulled plug of the deal on the grounds that they wanted a player for a long term purpose and he was not Francophone.
