Madu happy his goal nailed Akwa Utd

WIKKI Tourists defensive midfielder Harrison Madu is overjoyed that his goal made the difference in the top-flight clash against Akwa United..
The Bauchi outfit pipped the Promise Keepers 1-0 in Sunday’s top-flight matchday 3 clash at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.
Madu said the Uyo outfit predictably proved themselves hard nuts to crack in the hotly contested encounter.
“We are really excited winning the clash and bagging our first three points in the on-going league season.
“I’m happy too that God used me to give victory to my side over Akwa United and former head coach Abdul Maikaba.
“It was a tough match, perhaps tougher than we anticipated.
“Coach Maikaba proved with his match plan that he knows us inside out, but we showed that we have marched on from where he stopped.
“This win is the breakthrough we have sought in the top-flight and I can tell you that nothing will stop us from churning out good results in other matches."
The win takes Wikki Tourists' total earning to four from a possible nine points in the three-week old top-flight.
