Eguma: 3SC still a big team

By Rasaq Oboirien
STANLEY Eguma says Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan is still a big team in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Eguma watched as Rivers United five matches unbeaten run came to an end as his team lost 2-1 with Jide Apena scoring the winning goal after Lukman Mohammed had canceled Sunday Faleye's lead.
"3SC is a big team any time any day, we never underrated them, they are a good side despite the fact that they have not done well in the league for some years now.
"We came to Ibadan to win but unfortunately we couldn't. Kudos to them as they did well against us."
"The defeat is a lesson to us, as we didn't start well in the opening minutes but we later came into the game.
"We'll keep working hard, that we had gone five matches without a defeat didn't make us invincible. Our opponents raised their game and they got the result, Eguma said.
The Pride of Rivers who held Real Bamako to a barren draw in the 1st leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League will this weekend host ABS FC of Ilorin in Port-Harcourt.
