CHUKWUJEKWU Mbami Onuoha has assured Remo Stars fans that they will gun for the maximum 3points against four times Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Kano Pillars, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Both teams go head-to-head in a Matchday 11 mid-week fixture on Wednesday at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.
The former Gabros of Nnewi center-half said after the Sky Blues Stars shared the spoils with their local rivals 3SC last Saturday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
"The draw against Shooting Stars have proved our critics wrong that Remo Stars is not a bad team.
"I recall in the pre-match chat I had with NaijaSportsXtra, I said we were going to Ibadan to beat our local rivals.
"Our plan was to shock the Oluyole Warriors at home but I felt elated after I heard the blast of the refs final whistle and knowing that a point is in the bag for us."
On the Sky Blues Stars next game against a high profile Kano Pillars, "It's 3points or nothing against the Masu Gida that am assuring our fans.
"The are a big team but sometimes big names don't play football. We'll give them their respect before and after the game but on the field of play, we have to produce our best."
