THE management of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Katsina United has accepted the resignation of head coach Bala Nikyu.
A statement issued and signed by Secretary of the NNL Super4 champions, Sani Tanau read, Nikyu has worked tirelessly hard in the short time he was in charge of Katsina United and he equally received our full support to discharge his duties.
We sincerely appreciate his whole-hearted commitment as he gave Katsina United purpose and a sense of belonging in the NPFL.
Katsina United therefore wish the coach the very best in his future endeavour.
Assistant coach Baldwin Bazauye will in the interim take charge of the team beginning with Sunday’s NPFL match against Niger Tornadoes in Lokoja.
