MFM FC dismantle Kano Pillars 1-0

ADEBAYO Waheed scores on his debut as his solitary strike saw Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC of Lagos beat four times Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Kano Pillars in a matchday 5 tie at the Agege Stadium, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The youngster who came in as a second half substitute after he replaced Adekunle Adegboyega in the 61st minute made the most of Pillars duo of Chinedu Udoji and Anyanwu scoring with an acrobatic nodding in the 66th minute from a cross from Okorom Stanley to send the Soccer Temple stadium to wild excitement.
Goalkeeper Egbe Ospino was brilliant in goal for the Olukoya Boys denying Kadiri Ikhana's Pillars from scoring.
MFM FC will play away to Sunshine Stars of Akure in a South-West derby on matchday 6.
