GOMBE United will be without the trio of Mannir Ubale, Uche Owasanya and Sanusi Sani in today's Matchday 6 tie against Abia Warriors at the Uzor Kalu Stadium, Umuahia, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
According to the Savannah Scorpions media officer, Halilu Teli the trio were ruled out owing to different injuries sustained during their victory against Sunshine Stars of Akure on Matchday 5 at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
"Former Kano Pillars ace is nursing a hamstring, Owasanya injured his ankle while Sani had a slight knock to his knee.
"So they are out and responding to treatment.
"I can't be exact on their returning date, but we hope to have them back as soon as possible," said Teli.
Meanwhile, the Manu Garba team who arrived Umuahia 9am Saturday after passing the night in Enugu, trained on the Uzor Kalu Stadium turf later in the evening.
