WATFORD's Troy Deeney has wished his former strike partner, Odion Ighalo the best after he left Vicarage Road on deadline day to join Changchun Yatai in a £20million deal.
An emotional Deeney via social media, Twitter on Thursday exchange tweets with the Super Eagles striker who recently made his 100 appearances for the Hornets in the draw against Burnermouth two weekends ago.
"All the best with your new ventures lads thanks for everything you've done for the club @ighalojude @AdleneGUEDIOURA
.
Ighalo then replied, "Jude @ighalojude, Thanks @T_Deeney great guy and captain, pls continue to lead the team that way and hopefully we see in china

."
Recall the Englishman told talkSPORT that he had no hard feelings about the Nigerian moving to the Chinese Super League.
He has admitted that he would consider a move to China if the right offer comes his way.
With the astronomical wages being offered by many Chinese sides, Deeney believes it is tempting to all players to make a switch to the Far East.
