COACH Samson Unuanel and Technical Director, Henry Abiodun have been shown the exit door by the management o Sunshine Stars of Akure, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Both men were asked to go due to internal wrangling which has in the short run affected the performance of the club as they are placed 18th on the Nigeria Premier League log recording just a point from the home draw against Akwa United and two defeats to Lobi Stars and MFM FC of Lagos.
According to an official of the Owena Waves, "The internal wrangling between both coaches has affected the players and team's performance which has not justified the huge investment of the state government and expectations of the people of the state."
Meanwhile, Kayode Olujoungbe will be in charge in the home game against FC IfeanyiUbah on matchday 5 as interim coach pending the appointment of a new substantive head coach.
however, Olujoungbe's appointment takes immediate effect.
