Canada 2015:
Super Falcons arrive Toronto


Nigeria's Super Falcons have arrived Canada, host country for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The team left Abuja on wednesday night aboard an Air France airline and landed in Paris around 5:45am local time after a five and half hour trip. The team transitted at the Charles De Gaulle airport for 5 hours before connecting their flight to Toronto.
On arrival at the Toronto Pearson International airport, Falcons were welcomed by Nigeria Deputy High Commissioner, Charles N. Onianwa who charged the girls to make Nigeria proud.
" I must first and foremost welcome you to Canada because the tournament we are all looking forward to is a very important one. Last year,  the Falconets did us proud here and now we have the Super Falcons, so expectations are high and we have no doubt that you are going to clinch the cup" said Onianwa.In his response, Coach Edwin Okon said that Super Falcons' arrival heralds the coming of the champions. "Our arrival is that of champions. We are ready and I look forward to the finals and getting the cup here in Canada" Okon enthused.

Team captain, Evelyn Nwabuoku and Francisca Ordega, who were already in Toronto, received their teammates  at the Novotel Hotel lodge. The team commenced training on Thursday morning.
