Emenike to join Championship club

SUPER Eagles and Fenerbahçe striker, Emmanuel Emenike is expected to leave Fenerbahçe at the end of the season and join an English Championship club according to the Sabah.
The club remains unnamed in the report but Emenike is expected to leave the Yellow Canaries at the end of the season.
The Nigerian international had been closely linked with a move to Tottenham over the winter transfer window.
Tottenham were linked with a €10 million move in January for Emenike by the newspaper Metro.
Emeneike’s agent Erdem Konyar also confirmed that Spurs were interested in the summer.
“I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet,” Konyar told Radyospor.
“However, if Fenerbahçe give us permission we could enter negotiations.”
According to the Turkish newspaper AMK, Umm Salal – who are managed by the Turkish coach Bülent Uygun – are preparing a €15 million offer for the 28-year-old.
Fenerbahce who rejected a €10 million offer in January are expected to allow the Nigerian international to leave in the Summer after a disappointing season.
The Nigerian has scored only five goals in all competitions.
