SWAZILAND's Sihlangu Semnikati, arrived safely in Nigeria ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier second leg match to be played Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
Led by senior Match Commissioner Mangaliso Sihlongonyane, the squad landed safely in the densely populated West African state Sunday afternoon.
Head coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga confirmed that they arrived safely in Nigeria.
“We are now in Nigeria and we had our first training session Sunday evening after the players had recovered from the travel fatigue. All the players are healthy and we pray that we will not pick up any late injuries before the match,” he said.
The squad left Swaziland on Saturday afternoon by road to Johannesburg where they then connected a flight at the OR Tambo International Airport. The match will kickoff at 4pm Tuesday.
