BRRCELONA’S Arda Turan has been handed Pedro's No.7 jersey by the Catalan giants.Turan has traditionally worn the number 10, at both Galatasaray and Atlético, but this option is clearly out of bounds given that it is currently worn by Leo Messi at Barça. The number 7 shirt has often been synonymous with goals at the Catalan club, and has been worn by the likes of Figo, Alfonso, Saviola, Larsson, Gudjohnsen, David Villa and Pedro - it was left free after the latter moved to the Premier League to play for Chelsea.
Aleix Vidal, meanwhile, will wear the number 22, freed up after Dani Alves took on Xavi’s number 6 shirt.
Denis Suárez could be the next player to join the Barça ranks, with number 16 currently without a home and the most likely option.
