SUPER Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf and other back room staff drilled the 22 Nigeria Premier League stars invited to camp for next year's African Nation Championship (CHAN).
The competition meant for African players who ply their trade at home will be hosted by Rwanda from January 14 to February 7.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered that the camp which fully resumed after the Monday resumption deadline expired saw the players undergo both morning and evening sessions under the watchful eyes of former El-Kanemi Warriors coach inside the Main Bowl of the Abuja National Stadium.
The morning warm-up session saw the players doing much of jogging and stretching under the hazy and sunny Abuja weather.
Recall many of the players have been out of action for close to a month after the season ended.
It was cooler for the players in the evening as they did light stretching and played with the balls. The camping is expected to last for about two weeks before their planned tour of South Africa in January.
Nigeria who won bronze in the last edition in South Africa has been grouped alongside Tunisia, Guinea and Niger Republic.
