THE management of Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Giwa FC of Jos has debunked rumours making the rounds that the duo of Kwara United and Adamawa United were ready to buy the club.
In a statement released by the club who finished 4th on the log last season stated that the Jos team is not for sale at any price and there has never been any reason to sell the club.Fans of the club were then assured that their loyalty would not be taken for granted in relation to issues of this magnitude and that the club won’t be sold either now or in the nearest future as people spreading such rumours are only makers of mischief.
Giwa FC is owned by former Chairman of Mighty Jets FC of Jos and one time General Manager of Plateau United FC also of Jos and now a businessman and politician, Ambassador Christopher Musa Giwa.
