Nigeria out of FIFA top 60 best teams

.Now 66th in the World, 14th in Africa
.May be seeded in Pot 3 in WCQ Group stage

NIGERIA dismal decline in the FIFA Ranking continued as it dropped seven places to end the 2015 soccer calendar out of the best 60 teams in the world.
In the new rankings released Thursday, the Super Eagles who were rated 59th before the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Swaziland are now ranked 66th behind minors like Uganda, Panama and the United Arab Emirate (U.A.E).

who make up the top 10.The development means, the Coach Sunday Oliseh side would be seeded in Pot 3 and could battle one of Ivory Coast, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde and Tunisia in the group stages of the 2018
World Cup qualifiers.
A first-place finish on the last ranking of the year sees Belgium claim the Team of the Year award for 2015. The Red Devils jumped into first position (their first-ever) on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking in the November ranking, but a 3-1 victory over four-time world champion Italy in Brussels on 13 November saw them hold on to the coveted position for the final ranking of 2015. The past year has proved to be highly competitive with ranking runners-up Argentina and third-placed Spain outpacing 2014 Team of the Year Germany on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking for 2015.
Turkey receive the award for Best Mover of the Year thanks to the 329 points they collected over the last 12 months of football. Having last competed at a major tournament back in 2008, Turkey secured a place at the UEFA EURO 2016 in a campaign that saw them defeat Netherlands, Czech Republic and Iceland during the crucial final stages.
Meanwhile, the next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 7 January 2016.
