CHAN 2016: Eagles to train on artificial turf later-Oliseh

By Rasaq Oboirien  SUNDAY Oliseh has assured Nigerians that there was no cause for alarm irrespective of the Home-Based Eagles having their training sessions on natural grass instead of synthetic turf in Pretoria.
Incidentally the 22,000 capacity Stade RĂ©gional Nyamirambo which will host Nigeria's opening African Nations Championship (CHAN) Group C game against Niger Republic on January 18th is  a synthetic pitch.

Spokesman to the team, Toyin Ibitoye told NaijaSportsXtra on Monday that it was the coaches choice to drill the team on natural grass the at the University of Pretoria pitch.
According to Ibitoye: "We train here on natural grass for now.
The coaches believe that our current phase of preparation should be on natural grass. We will go on artificial later."
Meanwhile, the Oliseh led Home-Based Eagles will tackle Angola's Palancas Negras in its first friendly games on Wednesday.
