Iheanacho must prove worth-Pellegrini:

MANCHESTER City manager Manuel Pellegrini says young striker Kelechi Iheanacho should not be disheartened by a lack of action and instead focus on proving why he has been handed a place in the first-team squad at the Etihad Stadium.
The Nigerian is tipped for big things at City and has impressed in the opportunities he has been handed by Pellegrini so far this season, scoring four goals in 14 mostly substitute appearances.
Iheanacho, 19-year-old has not started a match since the defeat of Norwich City in October - his first and so far only Premier League start - and since then has only been handed significant minutes from the bench in heavy defeats against Liverpool and Stoke City, when the game was already well beyond the Blues.
With Wilfried Bony injured, many City fans are hoping to see Iheanacho start against Norwich once more when the teams meet in the FA Cup third round today, and Pellegrini, who suggested the youngster was the reason no further strikers arrived at the Etihad last summer, must repay his faith.
"When you're a young player and you're part of such an important squad as Manchester City, you must try to learn every day from others players and when you get a chance to try to make the most of that chance," he told the press.
"I think he's working every day, that's why I know he's improving, he's just 19 years old, that's why he cannot go straight in.
"He must be very happy and take the option to show why he is in the squad and why I trust so much in him that I didn't bring in another players."
