The ex-Super Eagles who was given the club's number 8 jersey told the press after he was unviled on Tuesday after that:
“It means a lot to me that they contacted me to come here. I was in no doubt and I’m pleased to be here. I’m feeling good and very keen to start playing. Physically I’m in good shape, it’s a good opportunity and I’ll do my best to give my all.”“I feel proud and happy to be here. I’m eager to get to work and show what I can do in order to help the team. I’ll work hard every day to support the team to win games, will always be available for the coach to count on me, and support the team.”
“Every day that passes I learn something and I’m getting to know La Liga more. I’ve been here a long time and think I’ve improved in every aspect. I’ve learnt a great deal about what La Liga is. I’m a striker who does what the coach asks of me. I will do my best to work hard to benefit the team,
helping by scoring goals would be better, so I’ll train hard for that to happen.”
