RIVERS United technical manager, Stanley Eguma has heaped praises on Shooting Stars as he stated that they are a traditional team in the country.
“They have been doing well, even from last season and they are not doing badly this season.
“They have a lot of experienced players, good management lead by Rasheed Balogun and a good coach in Kadiri Ikhana.
“Rivers United is looking to make a good impact and a great statement but we have to show it on the pitch.
“We are a very ambitious side, “Eguma told RIVERS UNITED MEDIA.
Today’s contest at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba will represent the first time, this season that United will have one of their games televised live and Eguma is excited at the prospect.
“Television is good for us because the players know that whole world will be watching.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what Rivers United is about.
“We are not under pressure. We will do our best to see that we get a win or at least, a draw in this game,” Eguma added.
The Garden City side are placed 8th on the NPL log with 9points.
