SHOOTING Stars assistant coach, Friday Christopher has backed Wasiu Jimoh to emerge as the season's top scorer, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Jimoh who is the Oluyole Warriors highest goals scorer with four goals bagged the season's first hat-trick in the demolishing of MFM FC of Lagos and his fourth goal in the 3-1 defeat to FC IfeanyiUbah.
Christopher said ahead his team's matchday 7 tie against Rivers United that: “Wasiu Jimoh is a powerful striker who could go all the way to emerge as top scorer in the NPFL; at the end of the season but we do not rely on him alone.
“All the eleven players who will start for us and the substitutes that will come in today are stars in their own right.
“The fans expect a win. It will be a tough game because Rivers United is the product of a merger between two strong clubs; Sharks and Dolphins.
“We will give them a run for their money and come out victorious in the end,” he said.
