Redknapp shun Super Eagles job

HARRY Redknapp has shun the chance to manage Nigeria's Super Eagles as he is to join the Central Coast Mariners as a football consultant, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Recall The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had approached former Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp to take over the Super Eagles job on full time.
A close to the team told British newspaper, Daily Star that Redknapp could be appointed Eagles’ manager within a few days.
The A-League club announced on its Twitter account during their end-of-season dinner, the Mariners said: "Owner Mike Charlesworth announces that Harry Redknapp will join the Mariners as a consultant."
Former Portsmouth, QPR and Tottenham boss Redknapp was recently in Australia as part of a two-game spell in charge of Jordan.
