Sunshine Queens can get better-Wemino

COACH of Sunshine Queens, Mathew Wemino believes her team can get better as the league progresses.
“The game was not too bad, at least my girls put in their best in this game.
“We were able to discover some mistakes which we will go back home to work on and it’s not over yet, this is just the beginning of the league, we’re still going to perform very well” said Wemino.
On his part, Technical Adviser of Rivers Angels, Edwin Okon praised his girls for the victory.
“I think am the happiest man because to play three matches in one week was not easy, even boys don’t find it easy due to the fatigue”
“They couldn’t play that which you know Rivers Angels to play because of fatigue but am glad they picked the three points which is more important” said Okon.
Amarachi Ojinma recorded her second goal of the season as Rivers Angels picked their second league win against  Sunshine Queens of Akure on matchday two of the Nigeria Women Premier League.
After a fruitless first half, the inform striker broke the deadlock in the second half when she headed home a cross delivered by Mabel Effiom in the 66th minute.
Shola Oyewusi then scored from close range from a set piece by Mercy Amanze in the 86th minute as the NWPL Champions ran away with a 2-0 victory
Rivers Angels next game will be away to Adamawa Queens on the 4th of June.
