SOME big names in the U-23 team may not start Nigeria's next game against Denmark at the on –going 4 –Nation Suwon Invitational Tournament, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Coach Samson Siasia had said that he would like to give the players equal playing time, so some changes will be made in his starting eleven on Saturday after he watched his team lose 1-0 to host Korea on Thursday.
Speaking from the Namdong Rugby Stadium training pitch, "As part of our plan to give every player equal opportunity to stake a claim for a shirt going to the Rio Olympic Games, we will be giving all the players we brought to Korea a chance to play and be assessed on their own merit, so that none of
them will complain of not getting enough time. In our game against Denmark on Saturday, we will definitely make changes in our starting eleven.
"This is one opportunity that we can't let slip off our fingers as the NFF has given us a platform to play against three top teams going to the Olympics, so we must take full advantage of it and hopefully we will get the best legs to represent us in Rio."
The Dream Team will be playing Denmark at the 41,000 –capacity Goyang Sports Complex at 18.00 hours local time on Saturday, which is 10am in Nigeria.
