RANGERS International of Enugu will play some friendly games since there are no Nigeria Premier League matches for the team until next weekend.
Coach of the title contender, Imama Amapakabo says the measure was aimed at keeping his players fit, reports NaijaSportsxtra.blogspot.com.
"We cannot stay idle for one week. We need to engage the players and the only way to do it is to play some friendly matches."
Meanwhile, the Flying Antelopes have said that Sunday Chinedu will start training next week.
Recall the League Management Company ( LMC) postponed the Coal City team's matchday 30 home game against MFM FC of Lagos due to the involvement of both teams players in the NPFL All-Star Team that will be representing Nigeria in this year's Trofoe Carranza tournament in Spain.
The two teams have one official and five players namely; Enugu Rangers head coach, Imama Amakpakabo, Etim Mathew, Obinna Nwobodo, Chisom Egbuchulam while Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Sikiru Olatunbosun of MFM FC are in the 25-man NPFL All-Star squad that we be departing Nigeria for Spain on Monday for the LaLiga tour.
Other NPFL matches shifted are as follows; Warri Wolves Vs Enyimba and Wikki Tourists vs. Lobi Stars.
Rangers, who are looking to break their over 32 years no trophy jinx currently top the NPL log with 48points from 28 games.
