Algeria FA retains Rejavac's assistant for Eagles game in Uyo

THE Algerian Football Federation (FAF) says it has retained the services Milovan Rejevac's assistant, Kristian Cvijetic as they make preparations for next month's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria in Uyo, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Rejevac, resigned from his post siting intense pressure after the Desert Foxes drew 1-1 with Cameroon on match day 1 of the qualifiers, leaving Nigeria to go top of Group B after securing a victory against Zambia in Ndola.
FAF in a statement informed that Cvijetic, a Serbian-Swiss who doubles as assistant and interpreter to Rajevac will continue to work with the Desert Foxes despite the resignation of the ex-Black Stars of Ghana boss.
Cvijetic holds a UEFA Coaching Diploma (A license) and a Masters in Physical Education and Sports from the University of Geneva, and has also been an instructor at the Swiss Football Association.
