TUKUR Babangida has made a sensational return to Nigeria Premier League (NPL) giants, Kano Pillars as chairman of the newly constituted board, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Recall the Kabiru Baita management board was axed on Wednesday by the state government owing to the Maisu Gida poor form in the 2015/16 season where they finished 7th on the log.
According to director-general media and communications, Government House, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, Babangida will lead six other management board members which is made up of Musa Garba Yakasai, Faruk Sani Haladu, Tijjani Sale Minjibir, Sani Lawan, Murtala Alasan Zainawa and Yahaya Idris 'Minister'.
Under Babangida, Kano Pillars won the Nigeria Premier League for the first time in 2008 with Kadiri Ikhana as coach.
In the 2009 CAF Champions League, Pillars who were making their debut in the continent
