"I know him (Ogu) very well in Israel, but he's not better than the players I have here. I have a good team."
"It's true that some of the players I invited haven't had enough playing time in their clubs, but they have passed my assessment here "
"If I listen to journalists we have 100 Nigerian players not in this squad. But we cannot bring in everybody. So let's focus on this squad."
Despite his good form for his Israeli club both in the league and UEFA Champions League, Ogu has been overlooked by other Eagles ex-coaches like Sunday Oliseh and Samson Siasia.
