Algeria arrive Uyo for Eagles clash

By Rasaq Oboirien
ALGERIA have arrived Uyo ahead of this weekend's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The Desert Foxes contingent who left Algiers aboard a chartered Air Algeria flight landed at the Uyo International Airport at about 5:30pm local time.
They were received by top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), FAF members who had arrived Uyo some days ago and their country's High Commission staff too.
The Desert Foxes were led by long-serving FAF president Mohamed Raouraoua.
They are also booked into the Le Meridian Hotel with what looked like shipment of food, water and other necessary items.
The Gorges Leekens team are expected to have a first feel of the pitch at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium by 5pm tomorrow.
