Leekens finally call up five local stars for Eagles game

GEORGES Leekens today (Wednesday) finally included five Algerian based stars to his 18-man list of Europe based stars that will battle Nigeria in next month's Russia 2018 African World Cup match day 2 qualifiers.
The Group B game comes up on November 12 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Belgian who replaced Milovan Rejevac as the Desert Foxes  coach on Tuesday announced  only 18 players, all foreign based for game.
But 24-hours later, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) released a list of six players to make the squad 23.
Five out of the players are two goalkeepers, Malik Asselah (JS Kabylie), Chemseddine Rahmani (MO Bejaia) and three defenders are Hicham Belkaroui (Esperance -Tunisie-), Houari Ferhani (JS Kabylie) and Mohamed Khoutir Ziti (ES Setif).
The sixth player was called up to replace injured French-born whiz kid, Adam Unas.
