EX-Super Eagles ace, Emmanuel Emenike is facing troubled times with a section of the Turkish sporting media, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The Nigerian who was missing in Fernebahce's 2-1 triumph over Jose Mourinho's Manchester United on Thursday night, was reported to have left the stadium without taking a shower with his teammates at the Locke room.
Nebil Evren - NTV Spor, shared this post on social media, tiwtter, Emenike left the stadium immediately after the match. There is information that he was seen in the parking lot, gone without a shower. Demirkol a sports analyst blasted the report on the Yellow Canaries striker as false.
"In some news sources, it was said that Emenike left the stadium without taking a shower, it is a lie, he took the shower and left the stadium."
Şekip Mosturoğlu took to the defence of the AFCON 2013 top scorer after he tweeted: "All the football players can leave the stadium, and Emenike did not do anything different."
