Unuanel ready to dump NPL for Zambian league


EX-Enyimba of Aba assistant coach, Samson Unuanel has declared his intention to work in the Zambian Premier League.
Unuanel made his intentions known in an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com.
“I love Zambia, it is an incredible country ,I have been there once and I was impressed with what I saw and I love challenges ,I think Zambia will give me the type of challenges I am looking for”-Unuanel said.
“I am a grassroot developer ,I will make sure I build a team around young and talented players that will help Zambia football as a whole ,I am going g to build a team that will surely play well and equally a result oriented team that will be the pride of Zambia”.-he further added
He admitted having been following the Zambian Premier League for some time now.
” I have been following the league for some time now . I remember the last time I was their was with my team Enyimba played against one of the teams in 2009/2010 confederations cup," Unuanel said.
The experienced tactician believes the league has become so attractive and that’s why it is receiving so much interest from across Africa.
“The league is growing rapidly ,and a lot of African players are interested in playing there."
The CAF B license holder has a lot of experience and will bring a lot to the Zambian league as he was former Kwara United manager , Nigerian National female team assistant, Sunshine Stars manager and he was also part of Enyimba’s Technical crew twice. The other teams he has been in charge of are Prime FC,Ocean Boys and Niger Tornadoes.
