SUNDAY Oliseh has requested that the tune-up games fixed for his Fortuna Sittard side be canceled, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The former Nigeria male national team coach and captain who quit his job 10 months ago with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to resume work with the Dutch second division club on January 2, 2017.
The practice games was against a 3rd division team in Holland and was billed for New Year day at the Sportpark In Bandert.
The club announced today (Friday) in a statement that the former Juventus legend has decided to cancel these games because he wants rather a match to prepare his team.
Fortuna Sittard who are placed 18th on the log will be away to Achilles 1929 on January 13.
