
SUNSHINE Stars President, Prince Dapo Ajibade has tasked players of the club not to lose focus as they host Shooting Stars of Ibadan in Wednesday's South-West derby clash.
Ajibade spoke on the need for total concentration on the part of players and fans of the club ahead the showdown as the NPFL side seeks to have a hitch free match.
According to him, all logistics are in place to have a very successful match devoid of the usual bitter rivalry between the two teams.
"It is important for all of us, the players, officials, supporters and fans to be of good conduct before, during and after the game at the stadium to show the whole world that we are peace loving in the state".
"We must put aside the bitter rivalry that is existing between us and 3SC. We must focus our energy and concentration on how to pick the maximum points at stake"
"On our part, we have lined up several mechanisms to have a hitch free match, we want everyone that will be at the stadium to enjoy the game which promises to be interesting and explosive".
Prince Ajibade who is also the Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency, ODSFA called on all soccer loving people of the state to come out in their thousands to give maximum support to Sunshine Stars.
"We appeal to our fans and supporters from all the 18 local government areas of the state to come to the stadium and support the darling team as adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure their safety before, during and after the match".
According to him, the players of Sunshine Stars have been adequately motivated to put up a good and impressive performance.
Sunshine Stars are determined to record maximum win over the Oluyole Warriors to make up for the loss against Enyimba.
