MOUNTAIN of Fire and Ministries FC, Onuha Chukwuka has admitted that he would miss his midfield partner, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Recall Ifeanyi left the Olukoya Boys to sign a deal with Akwa United at the end of last season.
Chukwuka who claimed the Gold Cup pre-season tournament most valuable player award last December in Ijebu-Ode for his superb form in a chat said: "I'll surely miss him but as a professional, I should prepare for a season without him and also life must go on.
"He was fantastic to play with in the midfield as there was a better understanding and coordination between us last season.
"I wish him success at Akwa United."
Meanwhile, MFM FC he noted will fire its gas when they clash with Niger Tornadoes at the Agege Stadium on matchday one of the new Nigeria Premier League season.
"They are a team we know very well, recall we defeated them 3-1 at our ground last season and they drew against us in the Gold Cup pre-season tourney in Ijebu-Ode.
"It's going to be a different ball game on Sunday. I'm urging our fans to come all out to cheers us to victory on Sunday."
