GOMBE United's technical adviser, Manu Garba has applauded his players for their tenacity during the 2-1 victory over Remo Stars on Matchday 2 Nigeria Premier League game played at the Pantami stadium.
The former U-17 national team gaffer said in a post match chat:"The doggedness and resilience of the lads propelled them to victory after coming from a goal down in a highly contested match."
"We are going all out in our next match against Enyimba in Calabr, and God willing we will beat them."
The football tactician gave a pass mark to the match officials for good arbitration and hope as the league continues they would improve more going by the new laws of the game introduced this season.
Prior to the kick off of the match, a minute silence was observed in honour of the Kaduna stay F.A chairman Abdulkadir Magaji Kapaka who passed away.
