SUPER Eagles ace, Simon Moses scored a hat-trick as his Belgian team, KAA Gent mauled Yanbian Fude 11-0 in a pre-season friendly game played on Tuesday, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Nigeria international, Samuel Kalu scored the first goal after nine minutes to open a floodgate of goals against the Chinese first division team. Rob Schoofs who provided the assist for Kalu to score, added his name on the scorer's sheet with the second goal of the game in the 23rd minute. Dejaegere made it 3-0 after he took advantage of Yanbian poor defending.
Five minutes to end first half, Schoofs scored his second after an assist from Kalu to put score at 4-0.
Moses Simon got the first goal of the second half to put the score line at 5-0 while Jérémy Perbet made it half a dozen goals for the Buffaloes seven minutes later. Perbet in the 62nd scored his second as the goal tally increased to 7-0.
It took Simon six minutes to score a brace and the first hat-trick of the game scoring Gent 's eighth and ninth goal in the 64th and 70th minute.
Perbet then scored his team's second hat-trick scoring in the 72nd and 88th minute as Gent recorded its biggest exhibition friendly win.
