NIGER Tornadoes technical adviser, Coach Abubakar Bala has been presented with a new Peugeot Prestige 406 as his official car.
Preseenting the vehicle to the coach at the Niger State Sports Council, Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Sports Development, Alh. Mamman Musa charged the coach to be focused with his job as his appointment was faced by many reservations from some quarters.
Musa said that some persons were not happy with the coach appointment and want to see his downfall.
“On my part we will continue to pray for you to succeed, we want to see Tornadoes flying high again, therefore we are going to give the team all the necessary backing it needs to succeed, he said.
He appreciated the management of the club for providing the coach with a new vehicle even when the recession was hitting high.
The commissioner implored the management to put more effort and surpass the achievement it made last season, calling for more prayers from football loving followers in the state so that the team return to the Bako Kontagora Memorial, Minna as renovation work was ongoing.
