Jude Aneke joins Ikorodu United

FORMER top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Jude Aneke has joined his former boss, Maurice Cooreman at Ikorodu United, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Aneke, 26-years who surpassed Ahmed Musa's all time 19 goals scoring record by one goal played for Plateau United last season.
The striker according to our source has been training with the Belgian whose task is to return the GoTv sponsored team to the elite division after they got relegated last season.
Aneke is now with us, he played his first friendly game in the colours of Ikorodu United five days ago against a non-league team, Nat Boys at Legacy Field of the National Stadium in Surulere. The game ended 2-0 as he saw red in the game.
"He also featured in today's tune-up game against a non-league side, Goodland Rangers, and the game ended 1-1."
Aneke who began his career at Young Planners FC and Ebonyi Angels F.C won the FA Cup with Kaduna Utd in 2010.
His goals scoring exploit in 2011 handed him a Super Eagles call up to replace injured Osaze Peter Odemwingie.
In 2012, Aneke joined Warri Wolves, before transferring to Al-Masry of Port Said, Egypt, in August.
Aneke got interest from Clubs in Turkish premier league and also from giant Romanian Rapid Bucarest. On 18 July 2014, Aneke signed for Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Spartak Semey.
