Besiktas eye January move for Mikel

BESIKTAS president Fikret Oman says the Turkish club could make a move to sign Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel in January.
The Nigerian has seen his playing time at Chelsea significantly
decrease over the last couple of seasons and was seemingly heading for the door in the summer.
A transfer to the Turkish giants fell through but with the
Nigerian having made only one start this campaign, it could be back on the cards in the next window.
“If [manager] Senol Gunes had given the go ahead we were
going to sign [Mikel] and we could enter the race again over the winter break,” Oman told Fanatik.
The 28-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge in 2006 and has made

342 appearances for the Blues, winning the a host of honours
including two Premier League titles and a Champions League
crown.
