AFTER watching Cote D' Ivoire surrender a one goal lead against Guinea in a pre-CHAN friendly, coach Michel Dussuyer says he expects his Elephants to do well against Nigeria today.
Guiza Djedje made it 1-0 for the Elephants 17th minute but his mate lost his cool in the 72nd minute to give the Sily Natonale a penalty which was converted to put scores at 1-1.
"Despite the year-end festivities, my players have shunned pleasure to dedicate to work. I'm sure they would do better against Nigeria," says the Frenchman. The high profile international friendly will take place at the Tuks University Stadium, Pretoria with a kick-off at 4pm (3pm Nigerian time).
This will be the Home-Based Eagles third friendly in South Africa after beating AmaTurks 3-0 and sharing the spoils with Angola's Palancas Negras.
Meanwhile, Nigeria who are in Group C will hit Kigali from South Africa on January 15th, to finally acclamitize to the weather in Rwanda as they hope to take their first 3points against Niger Republic Menas on January 18th.
