Enyimba will beat Vipers-Uwadiegwu

ENYIMBA left-back Ugwu Uwadiegwu believes the club will bounce back from their run of poor results.
The Nigerian champions suffered a 1-0 defeat to Rivers United on Matchday 1 of the 2015/2016 Nigeria Premier League, making it three defeats on the trot but Uwadiegwu insists the club will snap the string of defeats in their next game.
"We have lost the game in Port Harcourt but it is not the end of our season," he told EnyimbaFC.net.
"In fact, the season is just starting so these games we have lost are teaching us some lessons that I believe we will learn from and start winning matches again."
An Obomate Fredrick free-kick just after the hour mark that curled past the wall on the edge of the box and past goalkeeper Femi Thomas - who got his fingers to it - dealt a cruel blow to the People's Elephant after an impressive opening half, but Uwadiegwu says some games can turn out just that way.
"That's football. Some games you play well and win, others you play well and lose, just like it happened in Uganda [against Vipers SC]. We could have beaten them but didn't take our chances in the first half. The same thing has happened against Rivers United.
"But I believe that we will win our next match. The players are not happy and so too are the technical crew. We want to go out and win our next match, God willing. Our fans our worried right now but this bad form wont go on much longer.

We will show the world again that we are Enyimba, that we can be the winning team again."
The Elephants will host Vipers SC in Port Harcourt in a CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg fixture. Vipers secured a one nil victory in the first leg in Kampala nearly a fortnight ago.
