SUPER Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala was dropped by Liverpool Ladies for their pre-season tour of South Africa.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered from The Reds wire source that the Nigerian was not listed by Scott Rogers in his 18-player squad.The Reds take off on Thursday afternoon, with the new look team facing Walter Sisulu Ladies Team on 21 February before taking on Mamelodi Sundowns FC on 24 February.
As well as the preparation fixtures, the travelling players will meet local fans in the regions and participate in community events during their stay in Johannesburg.
Reds trio Martha Harris, Kate Longhurst and Rosie White will also be visiting Zambia for a Soccer Clinic alongside Standard Chartered’s Goal Programme prior to the tour of South Africa.
