Lobi, MFM complete double over 3SC, Nasarawa Utd

LOBI Stars of Makurdi and MFM FC of Lagos compeleted a double after they defeated 3SC and Nasarawa United respectively on matchday 21, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Coach Gbenga Ogunbote one game win streak with the Oluyole Warriors came to an end as the Koko Uwa boys mauled his team 3-1 while the Olukoya Boys began the second stanza of the season on a bright note via a brace from Sikiru Olatunbosun.
Lobi Stars got their opening goal from open play in the 4th minute via a Nanen Imenger strike.
Five minutes later, the host team could have double the lead but Shooting keeper Fabiyi sharp reflex save denied Ayagwa on a one-on-one.Imenger in the 43rd minute forced Fabiyi into producing another fine save to keep Shooting in the game. As the first half came to a halt, 3SC efforts then paid off as Yinka Adedeji leveled scores at the Aper Aku Stadium.
Things turned soar for the Oluyole Warriors as Lobi win a spot kick in the 50th minute as Ikeokwu was fouled in the box. Tony Okpotu made no mistake as he scored from the spot to restore Lobi Stars lead to 2-1.
The home team then claimed the maximum 3points after David Tyavkase put the icing on the cake with an unbelievable strike to give Lobi a two-goal lead in the 83rd minute.
MFM FC got the better off the Solid Minners with Olatunbosun sealing the 3points for his team with in 28 minutes of play.
He gave the Olukoya Boys the lead in the 18th minutes and made it 2-0 ten minutes later.
The Kabir Dogo side could have given themselves a first half lifeline but an unmarked Samson Gbadebo who rose highest in MFM's area, put his effort wide from a free-kick in the 44th
minute.
Recall both Lobi Stars and MFM FC recorded away victories in their first game of the season against Shooting Stars and Nasarawa United.
