Lobi will beat 3SC again-Makalala

By Rasaq Oboirien
VICTOR Makalala says his Lobi Stars team will do a double against visiting Shooting Stars of Ibadan in Wednesday matchday 21 tie at the Aper Aku Stadium.
The Dream Team ace told NaijaSportsXtra that: "The reverse leg fixture is one we want to win, so we don't intend dropping points against the Oluyole Warriors.
"Some said we were lucky in Ibadan when we defeated them in front of their fans at the Adamsingba Stadium on matchday 1, that to me is not true as we matched them strength for strengths and skill for skills.
"Doing a double against them will be special to us and of course put us in the hunt for the NPL title and top three."
"However, we won't be underrating them, as teams in the bottom are sometime hard nut to crack as they know how to make things difficult for teams that are gunning for a silverware or continental ticket.
"We are also wary of the Ogunbote factor, having read how they beat Akwa United in his first game in the dug-out.
"But I want to stress that Lobi Stars is not Akwa United and our fans too can be the 13 man on the pitch."
The Makurdi side lone goal loss to Rivers United on Sunday see them place 8th on the log with 28points.
