FORMER midfielder of defunct Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, Ezeanyi Abraham has given a thumbs up to Victor Ezeji on his planned testimonial.
Abraham who played alongside Ezeji at Sharks, described the striker as a ‘‘Hero’’ whose character should be emulated by players plying their trade in the Nigeria Professional Football League, same as for upcoming footballers.
"Ezeji is a winner, who during his playing career always did all he could to push his team to victory and added that he will be missed in the Nigerian League.
"He is a great striker and he is a hero. He is a very generous and nice person also.
"When it comes to the field of play, he is very serious. He doesn't like losing. All the time I played with him he has been the highest goal scorer he has always taken the team to the top.
"His performance is marvelous."
Abraham is of the opinion that if there is any player who has played in the local league who deserves to be celebrated, that player is Victor Ezeji.
"Yes he deserves it (testimonial) because he has worked so hard, he has built his life to a reputable one and I think he deserves it more than any other person."
The Victor Ezeji Testimonial is expected to hold in December.
