SHOOTING Stars of Ibadan have hailed Governor Isiaka Ajimobi for taking time out from his busy schedule to watch Sunday's South-West derby win over Sunshine Stars of Akure, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
A top official of the team said the Governor's half time talk in the dressing room spurred the Oluyole Warriors on.
"I know what it takes to play at this level, recall I was Games Prefect and I played football in my secondary school days. I think the team didn't attack Sunshine enough.
"I know 3SC can win this game, so am charging all of you to go out there and make us proud.
"Mind you, I have in my goody bag a big surprise package for you all after you win the game," said Governor Ajimobi before leaving the players to watch the second half.
A brace from Sunday Adetunji from the penalty spot in the first and late minute of extra time and one from Meshack Chukwubuikem saw the home team claim the maximum three points.
The Oluyole Warriors will this Wednesday be visitors to Ikorodu United at the Onikan Waterfront, Lagos.
